Role Description: The Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Dankuni, responsible for monitoring and reviewing CCTV footage across the facility to ensure safety, security, and compliance with company policies. The role includes observing live camera feeds, identifying and reporting suspicious activities, incidents, or safety hazards, and maintaining detailed logs and incident reports. The operator will coordinate with security, operations, and management teams to respond to alerts, support investigations, and provide video evidence when needed.

Daily tasks also involve checking that all CCTV equipment is functioning correctly, escalating technical issues,



and following standard operating procedures and data privacy guidelines. The role requires adherence to shift schedules, working in a control-room environment, and maintaining a high level of attention to detail throughout the day.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in CCTV system operation, including live monitoring, playback review, and basic troubleshooting of cameras and recording equipment.
- Candidates should possess robust observational and situational awareness skills, with the ability to quickly detect irregularities, safety concerns, and security breaches.
- Candidates should possess abilities in incident documentation, report writing, and accurate record-keeping to support internal audits and investigations.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and coordination skills to interact with security personnel, operations staff, and management in a clear and timely manner.
- Candidates should possess basic computer literacy, including familiarity with surveillance software, email, and office applications used for reporting and data management.
- Relevant experience in security operations, control-room monitoring, or logistics/warehouse environments is beneficial.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional training or certification in security, surveillance, or related fields is an advantage.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, remain alert during extended periods of monitoring, and follow safety, confidentiality, and data protection guidelines is essential.
