Position OverviewGeelon Industries Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and motivated Civil Engineer with approximately 6 months of experience to join our core infrastructure and plant maintenance team in Silvassa. The successful candidate will assist the senior engineering team in managing factory expansion projects, structural modifications, heavy machine foundations, and routine civil maintenance within our large-scale textile manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

- Site Execution & Supervision: Monitor daily construction and maintenance activities on-site to ensure full compliance with engineering designs, architectural blueprints, and quality guidelines.
- Structural & Foundation Works: Supervise specialized industrial civil tasks, including heavy machinery foundation casting, RCC structural reinforcement checks, flooring, and waterproofing.
- Progress Tracking & Reporting: Assist project managers in drafting daily site logs, tracking material consumption, and updating project milestone timelines.
- Safety & Compliance (EHS): Enforce rigorous plant safety protocols, ensuring all workers use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)



and adhere to industrial safety standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Contractor Coordination: Work closely with external contractors, sub-contractors, and internal cross-functional departments to minimize downtime and ensure seamless execution without disrupting active production floors.
- Quantity Surveying & Estimation: Assist in drafting basic Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), measuring work quantities, and preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) data.

Qualifications & Technical Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 6 months of hands-on professional experience or comprehensive internship experience in a construction/industrial setup.
- Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of AutoCAD for reading and modifying structural layouts and drawings.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with standard surveying instruments (Auto Level) and quality testing procedures for construction materials (concrete, steel, aggregates).
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with proficiency in English, Hindi, and regional languages (Gujarati/Marathi) to effectively direct local contracting labor.
