The role :
We're hiring a Civil Design Engineer (B.E Civil, 2–3 years experience) who can own drawings and documentation end-to-end from site data to construction-ready and as built sets.
Roles & responsibilities
- Produce design and construction documentation as required
- Prepare civil 2D drawings in AutoCAD and 3D models
- Prepare detailed abstract estimates and Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
- Visit project sites for supervision and surveys — collect data and measurements for full working drawings
- Prepare detailed drawings for the complete scope of work, by quantity and specification, to project requirements
- Track design/revision changes and update drawings to company/client standards
- Deliver working engineering drawings from schematic through construction documentation
- Prepare as-built drawings and hand over documentation to the Project Manager for client approval
- Establish and maintain structured, standardised AutoCAD drawings
Requirements
- B.E in Civil Engineering (Required)
- 2–3 years experience in civil design / drafting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
- Experience in BOQ preparation and estimation
- Working knowledge of site supervision, surveys and construction documentation
- Chennai-based Candidates (required)
- Preferable: candidates from architectural firms or builders
Job Type: Full time Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹420,000.00 per year
