We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chinese Commi I to join our kitchen team. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine, food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently while maintaining high food quality, hygiene, and presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Chinese dishes as per standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Handle wok cooking and various Chinese cooking techniques.
- Ensure timely preparation and dispatch of food orders.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and portion control.
- Monitor stock levels and inform seniors about inventory requirements.
- Ensure proper storage of raw materials and prepared food items.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen section as per food safety standards.
- Assist in menu development and recent dish preparations when required.
- Minimize food wastage and control kitchen costs.
- Follow all company SOPs, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a Chinese kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese sauces, gravies, wok cooking, and food preparation.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to handle kitchen operations independently during shifts.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in Indo-Chinese and Oriental cuisine.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
Salary ₹16,000 – ₹23,000 per month (Depending on experience and skills)
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
