? Bengaluru | Full-time | Leadership Position

We are looking for a hands-on Chief Technology Officer & Cofounder to lead the technology vision, engineering execution and product scalability of our growing fintech ecosystem.

Appkhichadi DXP operates at the intersection of fintech, consumer data intelligence and AI. Our flagship platform, Inly, helps users understand and interact with their financial data, while our APIs enable businesses to derive actionable intelligence from consent-driven customer data.

This is not a ceremonial CTO position. We need a builder who can own the technology function, make difficult architectural decisions, develop a strong engineering team and work closely with the founders on product strategy, business growth and fundraising.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute the company’s long-term technology and engineering strategy.
- Own the architecture, development, security and scalability of our fintech platforms.
- Build highly available APIs, data pipelines and AI-powered financial intelligence products.
- Lead backend, mobile, frontend, data engineering, DevOps and information-security functions.
- Recruit, mentor and manage a high-performance engineering team.




- Establish strong engineering processes covering code quality, testing, deployment, monitoring and incident management.
- Design systems capable of processing large volumes of financial, transactional and behavioural data.
- Ensure compliance with applicable fintech, data-privacy and information-security requirements.
- Strengthen cloud infrastructure, disaster recovery, business continuity and cybersecurity practices.
- Work closely with product, business, compliance and data teams to convert ideas into scalable products.
- Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions, technology partnerships and third-party integrations.
- Participate in investor discussions, due diligence, enterprise sales and strategic partnerships.
- Develop the technology roadmap, engineering budget and measurable delivery milestones.

What We’re Looking For
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in technology leadership.
- Proven experience as a CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Engineering, Engineering Director or Technical Cofounder.
- Strong understanding of fintech products such as digital lending, payments, personal finance, Account Aggregator, credit intelligence, banking APIs or financial-data platforms.
- Hands-on architectural expertise in scalable backend systems, APIs, microservices and distributed systems.
- Robust experience with Node.js, Python, Java or comparable backend technologies.
- Experience with relational and analytical databases such as MySQL,



PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, MongoDB or similar platforms.
- Good understanding of AWS or another major cloud platform, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
- Experience building data pipelines, real-time systems, AI/ML platforms or large-scale analytics products.
- Working knowledge of encryption, access controls, secure development, vulnerability management and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to balance speed, scalability, security and commercial priorities.
- Strong ownership mindset with the willingness to remain hands-on during the company’s early growth stage.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent technology before customers, partners and investors.

Good to Have
- Experience building products for Indian banks, NBFCs, fintechs or regulated financial institutions.
- Knowledge of RBI guidelines, DPDPA, Account Aggregator frameworks, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS or related compliance standards.
- Experience taking a fintech product from early stage to meaningful scale.
- Previous startup or entrepreneurial experience.
- Experience supporting fundraising, enterprise due diligence or technology audits.
