Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the firm's complete finance function and drive financial strategy, profitability, cash flow, taxation, compliance, governance and partner reporting.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in a professional services environment, preferably from a Law Firm, Big 4, Consulting/Accounting Firm or partnership-led organisation, with excellent commercial acumen and experience working closely with Partners and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the firm's financial strategy, budgeting, FP&A; and forecasting.
- Drive revenue, profitability, cash flow and working-capital management.
- Analyse partner-wise, practice-area-wise and matter-wise profitability.
- Oversee billing, WIP, collections, revenue recognition and debtor management.
- Lead treasury, banking, liquidity and fund management.
- Manage taxation, accounting, statutory compliance and financial governance.
- Strengthen financial controls, policies, processes and risk management.
- Prepare MIS, dashboards and financial performance reports for Partners and senior leadership.
- Manage financial aspects of partner compensation, drawings, distributions and profitability, as applicable.
- Act as a strategic finance partner to the Managing Partners/CEO.
- Lead, mentor and develop the Finance & Accounts team.
- Drive technology-enabled improvements in financial reporting, MIS and decision-making.

Candidate Profile

- CA preferred; MBA in Finance from a reputed institution will be an advantage.
- 15-20 years of relevant experience,



including significant senior finance leadership experience.
- Strong experience in professional services partnership-led organisations.
- Candidates from Law Firms, Big 4, Consulting, Accounting or Professional Services firms preferred.
- Strong knowledge of FP&A;, budgeting, forecasting, treasury and cash-flow management.
- Hands-on experience in professional-services billing, WIP, collections and profitability analysis.
- Strong understanding of taxation, financial reporting, statutory compliance and governance.
- Excellent financial modelling, analytical and commercial skills.
- Ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
- Strong experience working with Partners, Managing Partners, CEOs and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, ownership and professional maturity.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to leverage financial systems, MIS and technology.
