Role Purpose The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for conceptualizing, building and scaling the Companys Aerospace and Automobile Components business, leveraging its existing foundry and precision manufacturing capabilities as the foundation for a higher-value engineered components platform. The CEO will own the business strategy, market positioning, technology roadmap, customer acquisition, project development, manufacturing capability, organization building and overall P&L; of the business.

The mandate is not limited to running a foundry operation. The CEO will identify and develop the right component portfolio, determine target markets and customers, build strategic partnerships, define the required technology and manufacturing ecosystem, and convert the opportunity into a scalable and profitable Aerospace and Automobile components business.

Key Accountabilities

1. Business Conceptualization & Strategy

- Develop the overall vision, business model, and multi-year strategy for establishing a differentiated Aerospace and Automobile Components business.
- Identify attractive component segments, applications, technologies, customers, and geographies, and translate market opportunities into a clear business roadmap.
- Assess build-versus-buy, technology, capacity, capability, and investment choices and prepare a phased plan covering immediate, medium-term, and long-term growth.
- Create a commercially viable business proposition with clear revenue, margin, customer, and capacity milestones, and take full ownership of delivering the plan.

1. Aerospace & Automobile Business Development

- Build relationships with OEMs, Tier-1 and Tier-2 customers, global customers, technology partners, and other strategic stakeholders in Aerospace and Automobile components.
- Develop a robust customer acquisition and business development pipeline, convert RFQs/opportunities into long-term business, and build a strong order book.
- Understand evolving requirements in lightweighting, safety-critical components, electrification, precision engineering, performance, quality and cost competitiveness, and align the Company’s capabilities accordingly.
- Develop strategic alliances, technology tie-ups and customer partnerships wherever required to accelerate market entry and capability development.

1. Product & Technology Development

- Conceptualize the component portfolio and define the required manufacturing technologies, processes, tooling, machining, precision finishing, inspection and quality systems.
- Leverage and progressively upgrade casting capabilities such as aluminium, SGI and other suitable processes where they create a competitive advantage, without making foundry technology the sole focus of the business.
- Drive engineering-led product development, process development, value engineering and continuous technology enhancement to meet Aerospace and Automobile customer expectations.
- Ensure the organization develops the technical depth and certifications, systems and processes required to serve demanding domestic and global customers.

1. Greenfield / Brownfield Project Leadership

- Lead the conceptualization and execution of new manufacturing facilities,

capacity expansion and capability-building projects from business case and feasibility through technology selection, project implementation, commissioning and commercial stabilization.
- Define investment priorities, capacity plans, project economics and return-on-investment expectations in alignment with the Board.
- Build an integrated project plan covering land, plant and machinery, technology, tooling, quality systems, manpower, suppliers, customer approvals and commercialization.
- Ensure projects are executed with solid governance, cost discipline, timelines and clear accountability.

1. P&L;, Commercial & Operational Leadership

- Take complete responsibility for revenue, profitability, cash generation, working capital, capital expenditure and overall business performance.
- Build a competitive cost structure and drive productivity, yield, quality, delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
- Establish business reviews, KPIs and governance mechanisms that enable data-driven decisions and rapid corrective action.
- Ensure the manufacturing organization operates with high standards of safety, quality, reliability and operational discipline.

1. Organization & Leadership Building

- Build a strong leadership team across Business Development, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance and other critical functions.
- Create an entrepreneurial, customer-focused and performance-oriented culture capable of supporting rapid business scale-up.
- Develop technical and managerial talent, succession capability and organizational systems appropriate for a professionally managed engineering business.

Desired Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will be an accomplished CEO / Business Leader with a proven track record of conceptualizing, building and scaling Aerospace and/or Automobile Components businesses. He should have demonstrated experience in converting a strategic opportunity into a commercially successful business, including customer acquisition, product development, manufacturing capability creation, capital investment, team building and P&L; delivery. He should be a strategic and entrepreneurial leader rather than a purely plant or production-oriented professional. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to think beyond the existing manufacturing setup, identify future business opportunities, formulate strategy, build customer relationships and lead the organization through the entire journey from concept to commercialization and profitable scale.

Essential Experience

- 25+ years of progressive experience in Aerospace Components, Automobile Components, Precision Engineering, Foundry-based Components, Machined Components or closely related engineering manufacturing businesses.
- Proven track record of having conceptualized, established,

transformed or scaled a business / business vertical, with measurable commercial results.
- Strong exposure to OEM / Tier-1 customer development, strategic account management, RFQ-to-business conversion and long-term customer relationships.
- Experience in greenfield and/or brownfield projects, including business planning, technology selection, capital investment, commissioning and commercial ramp-up.
- Strong understanding of precision manufacturing, casting and downstream value addition such as machining, finishing, inspection and component manufacturing.
- Minimum 10 years in a CEO, Business Head, Executive Director, President or equivalent enterprise/business leadership role with full or substantial P&L; responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and work directly with promoters, Directors and Boards on strategy, investment and growth decisions.

Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Production, Aerospace, Automobile, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from a reputed institution.
- MBA/PGDM in General Management, Strategy, Operations, Finance or a related field will be preferred.

Leadership Attributes
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to create a business rather than only manage an existing operation.
- Strong strategic thinking, commercial orientation and ability to identify and prioritize high-value growth opportunities.
- Excellent techno-commercial judgment with the ability to connect market opportunity, product, technology, investment and profitability.
- Strong customer orientation and credibility with OEMs, Tier-1 customers, technology partners and senior industry stakeholders.
- High ownership, execution discipline, financial acumen and the ability to build a high-performance leadership team.
- Ability to partner closely with the promoters and Board while independently driving the business agenda.

Profiles Not Suitable
- Candidates whose experience is predominantly in mining, smelting, primary metals, iron/steel rods, bars, sheet metals, appliances or other businesses without meaningful exposure to engineered components manufacturing.
- Pure Plant Heads, GM Production, VP Production, AVP or functional manufacturing profiles without demonstrated business ownership, customer development and strategic growth responsibility.
- Candidates whose experience is limited to operating a foundry without evidence of building components businesses, developing customers, leading projects and owning commercial outcomes.
- Candidates without a proven track record of strategic business conceptualization, expansion and profitable growth.

Success in the Role Success will be measured by the CEO’s ability to define and execute the Aerospace and Automobile Components business strategy; establish the right product and technology portfolio; secure credible OEM/Tier customer relationships and business; execute required greenfield/brownfield investments; build a capable leadership team; and create a scalable, profitable and sustainable business with a strong future growth pipeline.
