Role Description The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is a full-time, on-site leadership role based at Unity Hospital in Mangaluru. The CEO will oversee overall hospital operations, including clinical and non-clinical services, ensuring productive, protected, and patient-centered care. Daily responsibilities include setting strategic priorities, managing budgets, monitoring performance metrics, and aligning departments with the hospital’s mission and regulatory requirements.

The CEO will lead executive and departmental teams, foster a culture of accountability and collaboration, and build strong relationships with physicians, staff, patients, and community stakeholders. The role also involves driving growth initiatives, overseeing business development, and representing the hospital to external partners, regulatory bodies,



and industry organizations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Finance and Business Planning skills to manage budgets, optimize resource allocation, and support sustainable growth.
- Candidates should possess robust Operations Management skills to oversee hospital workflows, improve efficiency, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Candidates should possess demonstrated Sales and Strategic Planning skills to drive service expansion, build partnerships, and position the hospital competitively.
- Candidates should possess proven leadership, people management, and stakeholder engagement skills to guide diverse teams and maintain effective relationships.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on ethical and data-informed leadership.
- Advanced degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred; significant senior leadership experience in healthcare is highly beneficial.
- Experience with hospital accreditation standards, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement frameworks is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Mangaluru and demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and commitment to patient-centric care is essential.
