Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Chef de Partie to manage an assigned kitchen section and ensure consistent food quality, timely preparation and smooth service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the assigned kitchen section.
- Prepare and cook dishes according to standard recipes and quality standards.
- Supervise Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants.
- Ensure proper mise en place before every service.
- Maintain food quality, portion control and presentation.
- Monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage.
- Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation and food-safety standards.
- Coordinate with the Head Chef and other kitchen sections during service.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required.
Candidate Profile
- Strong cooking skills in the assigned cuisine/section.
- Good knowledge of food preparation, hygiene and kitchen safety.
- Leadership and team-management abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Disciplined, organised and quality-focused.
