Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CCTV Engineer role located in the Greater Kolkata Area. The CCTV Engineer will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining IP CCTV systems and related security equipment at client sites.

Daily tasks include conducting site surveys, designing camera layouts, routing and terminating cables, setting up network video recorders (NVRs), and integrating CCTV with other alarm and access control systems. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing routine maintenance, ensuring optimal system performance, and documenting configurations and service activities. The CCTV Engineer will collaborate with project managers and client stakeholders, provide user training, adhere to safety and quality standards,



and support retail and commercial customers in minimizing security risks and loss.

Qualifications

- Strong technical skills in IP CCTV, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of cameras, NVRs/DVRs, and related networking components.
- Experience with alarm systems and integrated electronic security solutions, including basic knowledge of access control and fire alarm interfaces.
- Knowledge of retail loss prevention concepts and practical approaches to reducing theft and security breaches through surveillance and monitoring.
- Understanding of quantitative risk and process safety principles as they relate to security system design, risk assessment, and compliance with safety guidelines.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and using tools and test equipment for low-voltage installations.
- Ability to conduct site surveys, prepare reports, and maintain accurate documentation of installations and service activities.
- Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and work collaboratively with diverse clients.
- Ability to work on-site across the Greater Kolkata Area, including occasional extended hours to support project timelines and emergency service calls.
- Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in CCTV, electronic security, or related field is preferred; relevant certifications in security systems or networking are an advantage.
