Role Description This full-time, in office Cashier role is based at La Pizarra Arte & Cultura in Punjab, India. The Cashier will handle customer transactions, process payments accurately, issue receipts, and manage cash, card, and digital payment methods in accordance with company policies. Daily responsibilities include maintaining the cash register, reconciling balances at the end of shifts, and ensuring proper documentation of sales.

The role also involves greeting visitors,



answering basic inquiries about products and pricing, and providing courteous service that reflects the organization’s inclusive and cultural values. The Cashier will assist with basic record-keeping, coordinate with the sales and inventory teams, and help ensure a clean, organized checkout area.

Qualifications

- Strong numeracy and cash-handling skills, including experience operating POS systems and managing cash, card, and digital transactions.

- Customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly, handle questions, and resolve minor issues in a calm and professional manner.

- Attention to detail and basic administrative skills for maintaining accurate records, receipts, and daily reconciliation reports.

- Ability to work on-site full time in Punjab, India, including reliability, punctuality, and readiness to follow established procedures.

- Basic computer literacy and comfort with technology-driven environments; familiarity with retail or cultural spaces is an advantage.

- Previous experience in a cashier, retail, or front-desk role is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn and adapt is essential.

- Secondary school education or equivalent; additional training or coursework in finance, accounting, or commerce is beneficial.
