We're currently mandated to hire a CAST Imaging specialist on behalf of a leading global technology services organization C2H (6-month contract), hybrid.

Role Overview

This mandate is focused on application assessment, architecture analysis, and technical debt evaluation using CAST Imaging and related discovery tools, supporting large-scale cloud migration and application transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform application assessments using CAST Imaging and related tools
- Analyze application architecture, source code, interfaces, and dependencies
- Conduct complexity and maintainability assessments
- Identify technical debt, structural flaws, and modernization risks
- Generate architectural, dependency, and technical debt reports
- Support cloud migration and application transformation initiatives
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and stakeholders on remediation strategies

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience with CAST Imaging, application discovery, and dependency analysis
- Robust understanding of software architecture, application complexity analysis, technical debt assessment, and code quality/maintainability metrics
- Experience in one or more of:



Java/J2EE, .NET/C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, COBOL/Mainframe
- Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Prior application modernization/migration project experience
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks

Experience: 7-8 years total, minimum 5 years relevant (specifically in application assessment, software engineering, architecture, or modernization programs) Qualification: Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field (Master's/PG preferred)

Location: Bangalore preferred; other metro locations also accepted

Work Mode: Hybrid

Employment Type: Contract (C2H, 6 months)

Shift: 5:30 PM - 2:30 AM IST

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days

Compensation: 1,90,000 - 1,95,000 per month
