Summary The CAM Engineer assists in establishing manufacturability of new parts, works with process engineering and production to establish manufacturing process routings, and communicates closely with customers on their part requirements.

Essential Functions

- Liaising with the customer, front end engineering, assembly production, layout & design to improve overall production data integrity and decrease total lead times.

- Ensuring PCB fabrication is improved and customized for the assembly process.

- Communicating with sales and customers on current parts. Reducing & eliminating any EQs and TQs related to PCB production data.

- Assist in maintaining and where necessary upgrade software used in analyzing and tooling part data.

- Assist in improving FAB/CAM processing efficiencys and streamline the overall CAM-Fabrication system to build boards faster and with less manufacturing issues.

Required & Preferred Education/Experience/Skills

- 4+ years of experience with Valor Genesis CAM software.

- Associates degree or higher in engineering related field is preferred.

- Experience in PCBA is a plus..
