Required Qualifications

- Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering
- 2–6 years of CNC programming or CAM software experience
- Hands-on experience in:

We are seeking a dynamic and technically strong Pre-Sales Application Engineer for CAMWorks, the integrated CAM solution for SOLIDWORKS. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct impactful product demonstrations, deliver technical presentations, and support the sales team in converting prospects into customers through value-based solution selling. The ideal candidate must have strong machining knowledge, CNC programming experience, and the ability to present CAM solutions confidently to manufacturing customers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Product Demonstrations & Technical Presentations
- Conduct high-quality, customized product demonstrations of CAMWorks to prospects and existing customers.
- Deliver application-focused demos covering:
- 2.5 Axis Milling
- 3 Axis / 4 Axis / 5 Axis Machining
- Turning & Mill-Turn
- Feature-based machining & Technical Database

- Understand customer machining processes and tailor demos accordingly.
- Conduct onsite demonstrations.
- Handle live machining workflow simulations during technical discussions.




- Pre-Sales Technical Support
- Work closely with Sales Team to:

- Understand customer requirements
- Identify technical pain points
- Position CAMWorks as a solution

- Participate in customer meetings along with sales representatives.
- Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) demonstrations.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals and solution documents.
- Address technical queries and objections during the sales cycle.
- Solution Mapping & Chance Development
- Study customer manufacturing processes and recommend suitable CAMWorks modules.
- Identify upsell opportunities such as:

- Multi-axis machining
- Turning modules
- Automation & Technical Database

- Support territory expansion by assisting sales in new account penetration.
- Benchmark & Trial Support
- Perform benchmark studies using customer part data.
- Provide cycle time comparisons and ROI justification.
- Assist in trial installations and evaluation support.
- Coordinate with technical support team for smooth post-demo transition.
- Internal Collaboration & Reporting
- Share demo feedback with Sales Head.
- Maintain demo database and benchmark library.
- Support marketing initiatives such as:

- Webinars
- Technical seminars
- CAM workshops

- Train internal sales team on CAMWorks positioning.
