Job Role

- Position: Cafe Staff / Cafe Associate

- Greet guests warmly and provide friendly customer service.

- Answer customer questions about the menu and assist them with their selections.

- Take customer orders accurately and ensure timely service.

- Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages according to quality standards.

- Prepare light food items such as pastries, sandwiches, and other cafe products.

- Operate the cash register or POS system and process customer payments accurately.

- Explicit tables and maintain cleanliness throughout the cafe.

- Wash dishes, utensils, and other equipment as required.

- Sanitize work areas, counters, equipment, and customer areas regularly.

- Restock product displays and ensure items are properly arranged.

- Monitor inventory levels and report stock requirements to the supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

Food & Beverage Preparation

- Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages.

Cash Handling

- Operate POS and billing systems.

- Process cash and digital payments accurately.

- Maintain proper billing and transaction records.

Cleanliness & Hygiene

- Clear and clean tables regularly.

- Wash dishes and utensils.

- Sanitize workstations and cafe equipment.

- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Stock Management

- Restock displays and service areas as required.

- Monitor inventory levels.

- Inform the concerned person about low-stock items.

- Maintain proper organization of food, beverages, and supplies.
