Role & responsibilities
- Conduct pre-audit checks of expense bills to ensure compliance with company policies, approval hierarchies, and documentation requirements.
- Assist senior auditors in planning and conducting audits across functions such as Finance, Procurement, Stores, Operations, HR, and IT.
- Perform process walkthroughs, test internal controls, and document audit findings with supporting evidence.
- Evaluate compliance with SOPs, internal policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support special audit assignments, including fraud investigations, forensic audits, and whistleblower reviews.
- Collect, analyze, and maintain audit evidence while ensuring confidentiality and discretion.
- Prepare audit working papers, reports, observations, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare MIS reports related to audit progress, open observations, and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate with various departments for clarification and resolution of audit observations.
- Track open audit observations and follow up to ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
Eligibility:
- At least 1 year of Articleship completed with a reputed CA firm.
- Positive analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with audit tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems will be preferred.
