Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts & Audit Assistant to join our team in Purasawalkam. This entry-level role is ideal for CA/CMA Inter candidates seeking hands-on exposure to core accounting, GST and TDS compliance, statutory audits, and financial reporting in a structured work environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Day-to-Day Accounting: Record daily accounting entries, maintain books of accounts, and assist in preparing financial statements.
- GST Compliance & Reconciliation: Assist in filing GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, perform GSTR-2B reconciliations against purchase books, and resolve discrepancies.
- TDS & Direct Tax: Assist in TDS return filings, compute applicable deductions, and support income tax compliance matters.
- Audit Support: Draft audit schedules,



compile working papers, and assist senior team members during statutory and tax audits.
- Reconciliations: Perform regular bank, ledger, vendor, and balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Client Coordination: Interact directly with clients to gather financial documents, clarify details, and request missing records.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

- Education: CA Inter or CMA Inter (Pursuing or Completed).
- Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of basic accounting principles, GST, TDS, MS Excel, and Tally (or similar accounting software).
- Core Competencies: Strong numerical accuracy, time management, and the ability to hit strict compliance deadlines.
- Soft Skills: Good verbal/written communication skills and a strong willingness to learn on the job.
