About the Role looking for a C++ Engineer with strong Audio CODEC knowledge to work on test development and functional testing of Audio/Video SDK libraries.
The role involves developing test cases in C++, performing regression testing, testing Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) functionality, and supporting automation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement test cases using C++ for audio and SDK libraries.
- Perform functional testing of Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) applications.
- Test audio libraries, tools, and related SDK components.
- Perform regression testing and identify, debug, and troubleshoot issues.
- Work with Audio CODECs, Encoders, and Decoders.
- Develop and maintain automated test cases where applicable.
- Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure quality and reliability of audio-related features.
- Support different testing and audio-tool activities based on project requirements.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming and debugging.
- Good knowledge of Audio CODECs and audio processing concepts.
- Hands-on understanding of Audio Encoders and Decoders.
- Experience in C++ Test Case Development / Test Development.
- Experience with Audio/Multimedia Testing, Regression Testing, and Automation.
Good to Have
- Basic Python scripting knowledge.
- Experience with Audio/Video technologies.
- Knowledge of SDK libraries and embedded systems.
- Experience working with Digital Audio Workstations or audio tools.
Required Candidate Profile
- 2 years of relevant experience in C++, audio, testing, or related areas.
- Solid programming and debugging skills in C++.
- Candidates should have practical exposure to the Audio domain, particularly CODECs, Encoders, or Decoders.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on C++ test development, functional testing, audio tools, and automation activities.
