Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Business Journalist to join the editorial team at Asian Hospitality (AH), a publication of Asian Media Group (AMG). The role will focus on reporting and writing business and industry news across the hospitality sector for AH’s digital and print platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Research and write original news stories, features, interviews, and business-focused articles for AH
- Track hospitality and business developments, including hotel openings, acquisitions, investments, financial results, and industry trends
- Conduct interviews with senior hospitality executives, industry experts, and key stakeholders
- Build and maintain robust relationships with industry contacts and reliable sources
- Develop original story ideas and identify relevant news angles for AH’s readership
- Ensure all content is accurate, well-researched, engaging, and delivered within deadlines

What We’re Looking For:





- Minimum 4 years of experience in business journalism, trade journalism, hospitality journalism, or a related editorial role
- Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry and business news
- Excellent writing, editing, research, and interviewing skills
- Proven ability to develop original stories and report on industry developments independently
- Strong network of industry contacts and sources
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and editorial quality

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate

- Kochi, Kerala (Kochi): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
