Role & responsibilities

- Identify, evaluate, and pursue current business opportunities in infrastructure, water & wastewater management, urban development, and allied engineering consultancy.
- Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company goals.
- Track government initiatives (SBM 2.0, AMRUT, NGT, Jal Jeevan Mission, Smart Cities) and position the company for participation wherever its PQ is strong.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with government departments, private sector clients, and equivalent departments in neighboring states.
- Represent the company in client meetings, technical discussions, and high-level forums.
- Act as the key point of contact for business negotiations and partnership building.
- Lead preparation of EOIs, RFPs, DPR-related proposals, tenders, and PPP projects.
- Maintain familiarity with Tender Portals, eProcurement, and tender processes in India and globally.
- Coordinate with technical, financial, and legal teams for successful bid submissions.




- Ensure compliance with tendering norms and monitor competitive activity.
- Guide and mentor junior business development and proposal teams.
- Drive knowledge transfer on best practices in business development, contract negotiation, and client management.

Preferred candidate profile

- Solid technical grounding in engineering, especially the infrastructure sector (civil / environmental / mechanical / electrical), with professional insight.
- Proven track record in business development, bidding, and procurement within infrastructure or consultancy sectors.
- Sound knowledge of government contracting processes.
- Strong communication, client management, and presentation skills.
