About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and analytical finance professional to join our Business Finance team. The role will partner with cross-functional teams to drive financial planning, performance tracking, business insights, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong financial acumen, analytical capabilities, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering

- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, and other business functions to support financial and commercial decision-making.
- Provide timely financial insights to improve business performance and profitability.
- Evaluate business proposals, pricing models, and commercial initiatives from a financial perspective.

Financial Planning & Analysis

- Support the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly rolling forecast processes.
- Prepare monthly MIS, business performance reports, and management dashboards.
- Analyze budget vs. actual performance and provide actionable variance analysis.
- Develop financial models for business planning and strategic initiatives.

Performance Monitoring

- Track key business and financial KPIs including revenue, admissions, collections, margins, EBITDA, and operating costs.
- Analyze business performance across products, university partners, sales channels, and geographies.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities and recommend corrective actions.

Revenue & Profitability Analysis

- Monitor revenue, contribution margins, and profitability across business segments.
- Analyse unit economics including CAC, ARPU, conversion rates, and learner acquisition costs.
- Support initiatives to improve margins, productivity, and operational eAiciency.

Strategic Support

- Assist in board presentations, investor reporting, fundraising, and business reviews.




- Support financial evaluation of new partnerships, product launches, and strategic projects.
- Participate in automation and process improvement initiatives across finance reporting.

Governance & Controls

- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data used for decision-making.
- Coordinate with the Accounting team to reconcile business reports with financial statements.
- Maintain reporting discipline and improve reporting processes.

Qualifications

- CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
- 4-6 years of experience in Business Finance, FP&A;, Commercial Finance, or Strategic Finance.
- Experience in EdTech, Technology, SaaS, Internet, or other high-growth businesses will be preferred.

Skills & Competencies

- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar BI tools is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and business performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
