Role Description The Business Development Officer role at A1 Sports World is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders in the sports industry, and supporting the growth of commercial sports properties.

The Business Development

Officer will conduct market research, analyze trends, and prepare business proposals, presentations, and financial projections to support strategic decisions. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams on event and program proposals, managing client communication, ensuring high-quality customer service,



and tracking performance against sales and revenue targets. The role also requires active participation in meetings, sports events, and industry networking activities to expand the organization’s reach and strengthen its market presence.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Current Business Development skills, including opportunity identification, pipeline management, and relationship building.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret market data, assess financial implications, and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Candidates should possess foundational Finance skills to understand budgets, revenue models, and basic financial reporting related to sports business projects.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to ensure positive client experiences and long-term partnerships.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field are preferred.
- Experience in the sports industry, event management, or business development roles is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
