Role Overview: As a Business Development Intern, you'll work on real client opportunities from day one, scouting projects on Upwork and other job boards, drafting proposals, and speaking directly with potential clients. This is hands-on BD, not a shadowing role: you'll use industry tools, join client conversations, and help build our growth pipeline from the ground up.

Key Skills

- Strong written and verbal English communication
- Genuine curiosity; comfortable saying "I don't fully understand that, can you explain?" rather than bluffing
- A track record of having convinced someone of something (commercial or not) freelancing, event sponsorships, community building, or similar
- Self-starter mindset; comfortable with cold outreach and follow-through without being told twice

Good to Have Skills

- Familiarity with Upwork, LinkedIn, or other freelance/job boards




- Interest in IT services, Web3, SaaS, or software outsourcing
- Prior internship or freelance BD/sales exposure

Responsibilities:

- Scout and qualify relevant opportunities on Upwork and other job boards
- Draft and submit customized proposals
- Run early-stage client conversations: requirement gathering, clarifications, initial negotiation
- Support deal closures alongside the founding team
- Track BD metrics: proposals sent, response rates, conversions

Commitment: 1st month probationary. 6-month full time remote internship, 40 hrs/week, MondayFriday, 10 AM – 7 PM (flexible), extendable with PPO based on performance.

Eligibility

- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in any field
- Degrees in computing and IT preferred
- Prior evidence of relevant persuasion/sales instinct matters more than academic background

Compensation & Benefits:

- Stipend: Rs. 15,000/month
- PPO @ 3-5 LPA based on performance
- First month probationary
