About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Sales / Business Development professional from the Freight Forwarding / CHA industry to help expand our business in Pune.

This is a new Individual Contributor role focused primarily on generating new clients and business in Ocean Import / Freight Forwarding.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate new business and acquire recent clients
- Develop the Pune market independently
- Identify and approach potential B2B customers
- Handle the complete sales/business development cycle
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Generate business through Ocean Import / Freight Forwarding services
- Coordinate with the backend/operations team for smooth service delivery
- Achieve business and sales objectives

Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding / CHA
- Strong Sales / Business Development background




- Relevant Ocean Import / Freight Forwarding experience
- Proven new client acquisition experience
- Good understanding of the freight forwarding business
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Candidates should ideally demonstrate stability, with 2–3+ years in previous organizations
- Must be currently based in Pune; relocation candidates are not preferred

Additional Information
- This is a Work From Home position as there is currently no Pune office setup.
- Backend and operational support will be provided by the Mumbai team.
- This is an Individual Contributor sales role with no team-management responsibility.
- Age is not a barrier. Experienced or retired professionals with relevant Freight Forwarding sales experience may also apply, provided they are comfortable actively working in the role.
