Position: Manager/Sr. Executive Business Development (Energy Transition) Experience: 4–5 Years Qualification: B.E./B.Tech – Electrical Engineering Location: Pune (with pan-India travel as required)

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and technically sound professional to drive business development and marketing for Solar Rooftop, Open Access Solar, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in Solar Rooftop, Open Access, and BESS segments across industrial/commercial (C&I;) clients
- Prepare client proposals, techno-commercial presentations, and savings/feasibility analyses
- Stay updated on Maharashtra Renewable Energy Policy, MERC Tariff Orders, and applicable regulatory frameworks (Open Access charges, banking, wheeling, cross-subsidy surcharge, etc.)
- Engage with clients to understand energy requirements and propose suitable solar/BESS solutions
- Coordinate with internal technical, legal,



and project teams for deal closure and execution handover
- Track policy/tariff developments and their impact on project viability
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and CRM reporting

Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of Solar Rooftop, Open Access, and BESS business models
- Working knowledge of Maharashtra State Renewable Energy Policy and MERC Tariff Orders
- Familiarity with PPA structures, Group Captive/Open Access regulations
- Positive communication, client presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

Qualification & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (mandatory)
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in renewable energy sales/business development
- Prior exposure to solar EPC, Open Access, or BESS industry preferred
