Role Description: The Business Development Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves identifying and generating leads through school visits, local outreach, and referrals, and maintaining relationships with parents, students, and educational partners. The associate will conduct market research to understand local academic needs, competitor offerings, and potential growth areas for MJ Education.

Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering presentations about the institute’s programs, organizing and attending events or seminars, managing follow-ups with prospective clients, and supporting admission conversions.



The role also requires clear communication with internal teams to coordinate campaigns, share insights, and help improve enrollment strategies.

Qualifications

- Strong presentation abilities, including delivering effective Presentations and using solid Presentation Skills to engage students and parents.
- Experience with Lead Generation activities such as prospecting, outreach, and follow-up to drive admissions.
- Ability to conduct Market Research to analyse local education trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with students, parents, and school representatives.
- Preferred educational background in business, marketing, education, or a related field.
- Comfort working in an on-site, student-facing workplace and willingness to visit schools and local communities.
- Basic proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, CRM or lead-tracking software).
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team to meet enrollment targets.
