We are looking for a Business Analytics Analyst – Operations who can combine strong business/operations understanding with hands-on data analytics to drive better business decisions.
The role will work closely with business and operations teams to analyze performance, identify root causes, improve reporting, and translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cleanse and validate datasets for management reviews and business reporting.
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, visualizations and reports .
- Develop weekly, ad hoc and management reporting solutions.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, performance gaps and root causes of KPI deviations.
- Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations and executive summaries.
- Partner with business teams to understand performance trends and identify corrective actions.
- Perform process mapping and identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
- Support data-driven decision making across business and operations functions.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency and quality of data and reporting outputs.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; Master's/M.Tech candidates with 3+ years of relevant experience may also be considered.
- Strong experience in Business Analytics / Data Analytics .
- Hands-on experience building Power BI dashboards and reports .
- Strong data analysis and data-handling capabilities.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Understanding of business processes and process mapping.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and derive actionable insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.
Tools Must have: Power BI, Excel
Exposure to: SQL, Power Apps, SharePoint
Positive to have: Alteryx , Microsoft Copilot/AI tools, Master Data Management
Ideal Candidate
We are particularly interested in professionals who have a business operations or supply chain/planning background combined with solid analytics capabilities , as well as Business Analysts who support business/operations functions.
Candidates should have meaningful hands-on ownership of analytics, dashboard development and reporting solutions . Profiles where analytics represents only a small portion of the role are unlikely to be a fit.
Global stakeholder and cross-cultural collaboration experience will be an advantage.
