Brand & Launch Manager - GAGALocation: Pune

Type: Full-time | Flexible/Hybrid

Experience: 2–4 years The roleGAGA is entering its next phase, and we’re looking for someone to work closely with the founder to help build and execute it.

This role sits at the intersection of brand, marketing, launches and execution.

You will help translate the founder’s direction into campaigns, content, product launches, creator initiatives, digital experiences and day-to-day execution, while coordinating the specialists and partners required to make them happen.

We are intentionally building a lean team. That means this role comes with considerably more ownership than a conventional Brand Manager position.

What you'll ownBrand

- Translate GAGA’s brand strategy into consistent execution
- Protect brand voice, visual direction and consumer positioning across touchpoints
- Conduct ongoing consumer, competitor, category and cultural research
- Help develop campaign concepts and communication territories

Product launches

- Build end-to-end launch plans for new products
- Coordinate product, packaging, content, website, creators, performance marketing and other dependencies
- Maintain launch timelines and ensure teams/vendors deliver on schedule
- Work with product/manufacturing partners where brand or launch input is required

Campaigns & content

- Develop campaign and content briefs
- Help plan the social/content calendar
- Coordinate shoots, designers, editors, copywriters and creators
- Review output for brand consistency and quality
- Identify culturally relevant content and communication opportunities

Creators & partnerships

- Help identify creators aligned with GAGA
- Coordinate influencer, UGC, seeding and collaboration initiatives
- Work with external agencies or partners where required

Digital

- Coordinate website updates and launch pages
- Ensure product storytelling, imagery and copy are consistent across digital touchpoints




- Work alongside performance marketing to understand what communication and creative is working

Execution

- Build and maintain project trackers, launch calendars and marketing calendars
- Write clear briefs
- Manage freelancers, agencies and vendors
- Follow up relentlessly
- Identify problems before they become launch problems
- Keep multiple moving pieces organised without requiring constant founder intervention

What we're looking forYou probably have 2-4 years of experience in brand marketing, D2C marketing, consumer marketing or a related role.

Experience in beauty, skincare, personal care, or wellness brand is strongly preferred.

More importantly, you:

- Have personally helped execute campaigns or product launches
- Understand how contemporary D2C brands are built
- Have strong consumer instinct and creative judgement
- Can distinguish good creative from mediocre creative
- Write and communicate clearly
- Are highly organised
- Are comfortable with ambiguity
- Take ownership without waiting to be chased
- Can manage agencies, freelancers and external partners
- Can think strategically but don't hesitate to execute yourself
- Are comfortable working closely with a founder

This role probably isn't for you if• You need a large team or established processes around you to execute
- Your experience has been primarily coordination without ownership
- You want to work only on strategy and delegate execution
- You are uncomfortable with changing priorities or early-stage ambiguity
- You need to be repeatedly followed up with to get things done

What you'll getYou'll work directly with the founder and have meaningful influence over GAGA as it enters its next phase.

Instead of owning one small piece of an established marketing organisation, you'll get exposure to the full process of building a consumer brand- products, positioning, launches, content, creators, digital and growth.

As GAGA grows, this role has the potential to grow into broader brand leadership.
