Strong experience in BIOS/UEFI validation, including Complete x86 platform boot-flow verification

Solid understanding of ARM and x86 architectures, interrupt controllers, memory hierarchy, cache coherency, and system-level architecture concepts.

Develop and execute System Validation Test (SVT) plans for SoC functional, power, performance, and reliability validation.

Perform platform bring-up and feature validation on current silicon and hardware platforms.

Validate SoC subsystems including CPU, GPU, PCIe, DDR, USB, SATA, Ethernet, Security, and Power Management features.

Knowledge of evaluating HSIO subsystem behavior under cold-start, low-temperature, and high-temperature condition using chillers

Verify ACPI power management features including C-states, P-states, S-states, DVFS, power gating, clock gating, sleep states, and low-power modes.

Validate platform suspend/resume, hibernate, standby, and runtime power management functionality.

Perform stress, endurance, and reliability testing under various operating Thermal conditions.

Debug hardware, firmware, BIOS/UEFI, kernel, and driver-related issues impacting system functionality and power efficiency.

Experience using Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers,



Protocol Analyzers, Power Analyzers, Thermal Chambers, and Debug Tools

Analyze system logs, crash dumps, protocol traces, and debug reports to isolate failures.

Collaborate with silicon design, firmware, BIOS, software, and manufacturing teams for issue resolution.

Develop automation scripts using Python, Shell, or other tools to improve validation efficiency.

Track defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive issue closure throughout the product lifecycle.

Skilled in Embedded Linux debugging, utilizing kernel logs, system utilities, shell scripting, and diagnostic tools for issue isolation and troubleshooting.

Experience using Git, Jira, and defect management tools for bug tracking, issue resolution, and technical documentation

Generate validation reports, test coverage metrics, power analysis reports, and sign-off documentation.
