About the Role

We’re looking for a BI Engineer to design, build, and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions across Power BI, Qlik, and Tableau, turning raw data into actionable insights for business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards/reports in Power BI, Qlik (Sense/View), and Tableau
- Build and optimize data models (star/snowflake schemas) to support reporting
- Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate into BI solutions
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across all reports
- Optimize dashboard performance (query load, refresh times, visual rendering)
- Migrate/standardize reports across tools where needed (e.g., Qlik → Power BI)
- Automate recurring reporting workflows
- Document data sources, definitions, and report logic

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 4–5 years of hands-on BI development experience
- Strong, demonstrable experience across Power BI, Qlik, and Tableau (not just one)
- Power BI: DAX, Power Query, data modeling
- Qlik: scripting, set analysis, data modeling
- Tableau: calculated fields, LOD expressions, dashboard design
- Strong SQL (joins, window functions,



query optimization)
- Understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling concepts

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Basic Python/ETL scripting experience
- Prior experience migrating dashboards between BI tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Soft Skills

- Strong stakeholder communication — able to translate business asks into BI logic
- Detail-oriented, especially around data accuracy
- Comfortable working across multiple BI platforms simultaneously
