Role Overview

We are looking for a BFSI Content Writer who can create accurate, engaging and SEO-friendly content across banking, insurance, investments, loans, mutual funds, stock markets and personal finance. The ideal candidate will understand financial products, simplify complex concepts and develop trustworthy content for websites, blogs, landing pages, social media and marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

· Research and write original BFSI articles, blogs and website content.

· Create content for banking, insurance, investments, loans and personal finance.

· Develop SEO-focused content based on relevant keywords and search intent.

· Write landing-page copy, social-media posts, emailers and advertisements.

· Simplify technical financial information for general audiences.

· Fact-check statistics, product information and regulatory claims.

· Follow applicable RBI, SEBI and IRDAI content guidelines.

· Coordinate with SEO, marketing, design and product teams.

· Edit and proofread content for grammar, clarity and accuracy.

· Update existing articles based on regulatory and market changes.

· Maintain a consistent brand voice across communication channels.

· Ensure content is original and not copied or entirely AI-generated.

Required Skills

· Robust knowledge of the BFSI industry.

· Excellent written English and communication skills.





· Ability to explain complex financial topics in simple language.

· Understanding of SEO, keywords, headings and meta descriptions.

· Strong research, editing and proofreading abilities.

· Familiarity with WordPress or similar content-management systems.

· Ability to manage deadlines and multiple assignments.

· Understanding of financial-content compliance is preferred.

Qualifications and Experience

· Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Finance, Commerce, Marketing or a related field.

· Between 1 and 8 years of content-writing experience.

· Previous experience with a bank, fintech company, insurance company, brokerage, NBFC or BFSI agency is preferred.

· Applicants must provide published BFSI writing samples or a portfolio.
