- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso-based beverages.

- Provide friendly, attentive, and personalized customer service.

- Understand customer preferences and recommend suitable beverages.

- Maintain knowledge of coffee beans, origins, roast profiles, and brewing methods.

- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other coffee equipment.

- Perform regular cleaning and basic troubleshooting of coffee equipment.

- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking supplies.

- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.

- Follow standard recipes and accurately measure ingredients.

- Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation of all beverages.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work area.

- Work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation

- Prepare espresso, pour-over coffee, cold brews, and other specialty beverages.

- Follow standard recipes and brewing procedures.

- Ensure proper taste, quality, consistency, and presentation.

- Accurately measure coffee, milk, syrups, and other ingredients.

Customer Service

- Greet customers and provide professional service.

- Understand customer preferences and provide personalized recommendations.





- Answer customer questions about coffee and brewing methods.

- Ensure a positive and memorable customer experience.

Coffee Knowledge

- Understand third-wave coffee concepts and practices.

- Develop knowledge of bean origins and roast profiles.

- Learn and apply different coffee brewing techniques.

- Share relevant coffee knowledge with customers and team members.

Equipment Maintenance

- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment safely.

- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance.

- Identify basic equipment issues and report them to the appropriate team.

Inventory Management

- Assist with receiving and storing coffee beans and other supplies.

- Monitor inventory levels regularly.

- Restock supplies when required.

- Inform management about shortages or purchasing requirements.

Qualifications

- Previous barista experience is preferred.

- Passion for coffee and willingness to learn.

- Strong customer service and communication skills.

- Good attention to detail.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory.

- Familiarity with third-wave coffee and brewing techniques is an advantage.

- Willingness to work morning, evening, weekend, and other assigned shifts.
