Role Description The Barista role at Beanlore is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru South. Day-to-day responsibilities include learning to prepare espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, and other beverages according to Beanlore’s standards, while maintaining cleanliness and organization at the coffee bar and seating areas.

The Trainee

Barista will assist with customer service, including taking orders, answering basic questions about the menu, handling payments, and providing a friendly, efficient experience.



The role also involves restocking supplies, following food safety and hygiene guidelines, and supporting more experienced baristas during busy periods. Training will be provided to help the trainee build confidence in coffee-making techniques, equipment use, and consistent quality.

Qualifications

- Interest in specialty coffee, beverages, and the hospitality industry, with a willingness to learn barista skills.
- Strong customer service mindset, including polite communication, active listening, and a friendly, qualified attitude.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Bengaluru South, including standing for extended periods and handling fast-paced service.
- Reliability in following instructions, hygiene and safety procedures, and basic store operations.
- Basic numeracy and comfort using point-of-sale systems; prior retail or food-service experience is an advantage but not required.
- Team-oriented approach, openness to feedback, and enthusiasm for developing new skills and growing with the company.
