About the Role

Suktas Organic & Lifescience is looking for a qualified BAMS Doctor to support and oversee the technical and operational activities of our Ayurvedic manufacturing plant.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that Ayurvedic products are manufactured in accordance with Ayurvedic principles, approved formulations, GMP requirements, quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesAyurvedic Technical Operations

- Supervise and monitor day-to-day Ayurvedic manufacturing operations.
- Ensure manufacturing activities are carried out as per approved Master Formula Records (MFR), Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Review and verify Ayurvedic formulations, ingredients, processing methods and manufacturing procedures.
- Ensure appropriate handling, identification, storage and processing of Ayurvedic herbs, raw materials and finished products.
- Monitor critical manufacturing activities such as extraction, processing, blending, drying, granulation, filling and packing, as applicable to the product.
- Provide technical guidance to production personnel regarding Ayurvedic manufacturing processes.

GMP & Quality Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable Ayurvedic GMP requirements and plant SOPs.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams regarding raw materials, in-process checks and finished-product requirements.
- Review manufacturing documentation and ensure proper completion of batch records.
- Support investigations related to deviations, complaints, rejected batches and process-related issues.
- Ensure proper implementation of hygiene, sanitation and good manufacturing practices within the plant.




- Participate in internal audits, inspections and regulatory activities when required.

Raw Material & Product Quality
- Support evaluation of Ayurvedic herbs, powders, extracts and other raw materials from a technical perspective.
- Ensure proper identification and traceability of raw materials.
- Coordinate with QC for testing and release of raw materials and finished products.
- Monitor product quality and consistency throughout the manufacturing process.
- Support development and improvement of Ayurvedic products and manufacturing processes.

Plant Coordination
- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Warehouse, Procurement and Regulatory teams.
- Monitor production planning and ensure timely execution of manufacturing activities.
- Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing and process-related issues.
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability of plant operations.
- Train production personnel on relevant Ayurvedic manufacturing practices, hygiene and SOPs.

Product Development & Technical Support
- Assist in the development and optimization of Ayurvedic formulations, herbal products and wellness products.
- Conduct literature review and provide technical inputs based on Ayurvedic principles.
- Support preparation/review of product specifications, manufacturing procedures and technical documentation.
- Assist in evaluating new Ayurvedic ingredients and potential products.

Candidate Profile

Qualification:

- BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized institution.
- Registration with the relevant Ayurvedic medical authority/council will be preferred.

Experience:

- 0–3 years of experience in Ayurvedic manufacturing, herbal products, Ayurvedic GMP,



quality or plant operations preferred.
- Fresh BAMS candidates with strong knowledge of Ayurvedic formulations and willingness to work in manufacturing operations may also apply.

Required Skills
- Good understanding of Ayurvedic formulations, herbs and classical Ayurvedic preparations.
- Basic understanding of Ayurvedic GMP and manufacturing practices.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office/Excel.
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work at a manufacturing plant and actively participate in day-to-day operations.
- Responsible, disciplined and detail-oriented approach.
