. About the Role

OBS Digital Services is building next-generation platforms, including multi-sided marketplaces (food delivery and booking systems) and AI-powered media processing applications. We are seeking a robust Backend & AI Engineer to architect our core infrastructure. Working from our Kanchrapara office, you will design robust APIs, handle complex database schemas, and seamlessly integrate Generative AI capabilities into our products.

- Key Responsibilities

- API Architecture: Design, build, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Database Management: Architect and manage robust database schemas (PostgreSQL/MySQL), ensuring data integrity and handling concurrency to prevent issues like double-booking.
- AI Integration: Build and optimize pipelines connecting to Large Language Models (LLMs like Gemini, Claude, or local models via Ollama) for text generation, semantic extraction, and media processing.
- Background Processing: Manage asynchronous task queues (e.g., Celery,



Redis) to handle long-running operations like video processing without bottlenecking the main application.
- DevOps & Security: Implement secure authentication (JWT, RBAC), manage Docker containers, and handle server deployments.

3. Required Skills & Experience
- Backend Mastery: Proven professional experience writing clean, scalable, and type-hinted Python code.
- Frameworks: Deep understanding of FastAPI, Pydantic, and modern async programming in Python.
- System Design: Experience handling complex application states, rate-limiting, and third-party API integrations (e.g., payment gateways, AWS/GCP services).
- AI Pipelines: Hands-on experience working with AI endpoints, prompt engineering, and processing JSON outputs from language models.

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
