Responsibilities

- Collaborate closely with product teams to understand user requirements and define engineering solutions.
- Independently own technical challenges from ideation through to implementation and delivery.
- Engage with customers to gather feedback, ensuring the solutions are effective and meet their needs.
- Utilize solid engineering principles to evaluate and choose the appropriate technologies for each challenge.
- Solve complex problems with a focus on fundamental principles and clear reasoning.




- Actively participate in code reviews and contribute to improving team performance and code quality.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

Requirements
- Proven experience in backend software development using up-to-date programming languages.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience with building, deploying, and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services to deploy scalable applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an agile development workplace.

Nice to Have
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of backend systems.
