Role Description The Back End Developer intern will work full time on-site at the Bhubaneswar office, collaborating closely with the product and technology teams. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining server-side logic, APIs, and database structures that power Ekatraa’s web and mobile platforms. The intern will assist in integrating front-end elements with back-end services, optimizing application performance, and ensuring secure, scalable solutions for user and vendor workflows.

Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, maintainable code,



participating in code reviews, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to new feature development aligned with product requirements. The intern will also support documentation of technical processes and learn best practices in software engineering within a quick-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, including experience with server-side frameworks, APIs, and databases.
- Candidates should possess strong Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills, with a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and code optimization.
- Candidates should possess foundational Front-End Development skills to effectively integrate and collaborate with front-end components and teams.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Candidates should possess good communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to follow secure coding and quality standards.
