Role Description

We are looking for a motivated Automation Engineer (0–3 years experience) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will support the design, programming, testing, and commissioning of industrial automation systems. You will work with electrical drawings, PLCs, SCADA systems, VFDs, and motion control equipment to deliver reliable automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, and control schematics.
- Program, configure, troubleshoot, and commission ABB PLCs and SCADA systems (ABB, Zenon, AVEVA).
- Commission and troubleshoot ABB VFDs, servo drives, and servo motors.
- Support automation panel design, testing, and site/workshop commissioning.
- Troubleshoot PLC, SCADA/HMI, communication, drives, and motion control systems.
- Prepare technical documentation,



commissioning reports, and test records.
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, project, and operations teams.
- Follow all safety and quality procedures during installation and commissioning.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of electrical drawings, PLCs, SCADA/HMI, VFDs, and servo systems.
- Hands-on/academic experience with ABB automation products.
- Basic understanding of industrial protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to read technical manuals and work independently.
- Willingness to travel for site commissioning when required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
- Internship or project experience involving PLC, SCADA, VFD, or servo systems.
- Exposure to panel wiring, field instrumentation, or industrial networking is an advantage.
