- Prepare detailed civil working drawings for design and construction projects.
- Develop coordinated drawings based on inputs provided by the architectural and design teams.
- Prepare drawings covering civil works and related details, including:
- Electrical layouts
- Plumbing layouts
- Joinery details
- Sections
- Construction details
- Develop coordinated layout plans integrating architectural and civil requirements.
- Create detailed sections, construction details, and technical drawings.
- Revise and update drawings based on site conditions, project requirements, and Architect feedback.
- Ensure drawings are accurate and comply with applicable local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Coordinate drawings across architectural and civil execution requirements.
- Provide drawing support during construction activities.
- Prepare and update as-built drawings based on actual site conditions.
- Maintain proper drawing records, revisions, and project documentation.
- Communicate effectively with Architects, engineers, site teams, and other project stakeholders.
- Manage assigned drafting work and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all drawings.
Scope Of Work Working Drawings:
- Prepare detailed civil working drawings for construction and design projects.
- Develop coordinated layout plans from Architect and design team inputs.
- Prepare sections and construction details.
- Prepare supporting drawings for electrical, plumbing, joinery, and other related works.
- Update drawings according to site measurements and execution requirements.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions from Architects and project teams.
- Support the preparation of coordinated drawings for design-build projects.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Knowledge of BIM is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of civil drafting and construction drawings.
- Ability to prepare accurate technical and working drawings.
- Understanding of architectural and civil coordination.
- Knowledge of local construction practices and relevant building codes.
- Strong attention to detail and drawing accuracy.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage workload and meet project deadlines.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with architectural and civil execution teams.
Qualification & Experience
- Education: B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Minimum 2–6 months of experience in civil drafting.
- Experience in commercial projects is preferred.
- Experience in preparing coordinated drawings for design-build projects is an added advantage.
