Job Summary

SPT Motors is looking for an experienced and technically strong Auto Garage Manager to manage our garage operations in Kinshasa, DR Congo.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automobile repair and workshop management, with the ability to lead a technical team, manage daily garage operations, ensure quality repairs, and maintain high standards of safety and customer service.

SPT Motors operates under the management of the Pacifica General Trading business group.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee day-to-day garage and workshop operations.
- Lead, supervise and coordinate mechanics and workshop staff.
- Oversee vehicle inspection, diagnostics, repair and maintenance.
- Allocate work to technicians and monitor job completion.
- Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and according to quality standards.
- Identify technical problems and provide effective solutions.
- Manage spare parts, tools, equipment and workshop inventory.
- Monitor workshop expenses and support effective cost control.
- Maintain workshop productivity and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized and professional workshop.
- Handle technical concerns and ensure timely resolution.
- Train, guide and motivate the workshop team.

Requirements




- 10+ years of experience in automobile repair and garage/workshop management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Automobile Engineering – Required.
- Strong practical knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repair and maintenance.
- Proven experience managing an automobile workshop and technical team.
- Robust leadership and team-management skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management and cost control.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to take ownership of workshop operations.
- Hindi and English are required.

Salary Starting from USD 1,500/month

Salary may be higher depending on experience, qualifications and interview performance.
