Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Atlan Functional Consultant to support the implementation and operationalization of Data Governance and AI Enablement initiatives. The consultant will be responsible for Atlan configuration, metadata onboarding, data catalog management, business glossary, data lineage, documentation, and governance workflow support.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure, administer, and maintain the Atlan Data Catalog platform.
- Set up and manage:

Business Glossary

Data Catalog

Domains and Data Assets

Classifications, Tags, and Ownership

Governance Workflows

- Support metadata ingestion, onboarding, and asset enrichment.
- Configure, validate, and maintain data lineage.
- Support the implementation of AI context layers and semantic metadata.
- Catalog and manage reports, dashboards, datasets, and other enterprise data assets.
- Create and maintain technical, functional, and data governance documentation.
- Collaborate closely with Data Governance, Analytics, Data Engineering, and Enterprise Architecture teams.




- Support data governance processes and ensure proper ownership, classification, and documentation of data assets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in Data Governance, Metadata Management, or Data Catalog implementation.
- Hands-on experience with Atlan implementation, configuration, and administration.
- Robust understanding of:

Metadata Management

Data Catalogs

Business Glossaries

Data Lineage

Data Quality Concepts

Data Governance Workflows

- Experience working with SQL and enterprise data platforms.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams.

Preferred Skills

- Experience supporting AI Enablement or AI Governance initiatives.
- Experience with Snowflake, Oracle EBS, Data Warehousing, or Analytics platforms.
- Understanding of semantic metadata and AI context/knowledge layers.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale data governance environments.
