Interior

Design – Edu Brain role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Dubai, with flexibility for some work-from-home activities. The role involves planning and delivering undergraduate or postgraduate-level interior design courses, including lectures, studio sessions, and project-based learning. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing curricula, preparing teaching materials, guiding learners through design projects, and assessing their work through assignments, critiques, and examinations. The position requires mentoring learners on industry trends, portfolio development, and career pathways, while coordinating with academic teams to maintain high teaching standards.

The Asst

Prof. will also contribute to academic administration, participate in departmental meetings, and support initiatives related to internships, placements, and industry collaborations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid interior design expertise, including space planning, design theory, materials selection, and familiarity with contemporary design trends.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit,



Adobe Creative Suite) and basic digital visualization tools.
- Candidates should possess skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and learner-centered teaching methods suitable for diverse learning styles.
- Candidates should possess mentoring and academic guidance skills, including the ability to provide constructive feedback on portfolios and design projects.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and presentation skills, with strong command of English for teaching, documentation, and academic coordination.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills to handle teaching schedules, grading, project supervision, and administrative tasks.
- A relevant master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field is preferred; prior teaching or studio supervision experience is highly beneficial.
- Professional experience in interior design practice, exposure to international or industry-based projects, and familiarity with internship/placement processes are advantageous.
