The job role is in the Private Markets division at Acuity, one of the fastest growing segments within the firm. This opportunity is ideal for a private equity /investment banking / strategy consulting professional who is interested in working with leading global private equity funds and corporations.

Key Responsibilities: -

- Supporting a global Fund of Fund client’s Data validation teams.
- Managing and reconciliation of portfolio data: Managing portfolio details of various private equity / credit / real estate & infra funds and working on reconciliation process based on different parameters and checks.
- Data analysis: Analytical review enhancing historical dataset for outliers and filling gaps related to information for all the investments like NAVs, calls, exit information, and company financials.
- Standard deviation/ variance checks: Basic knowledge of statistical tools is required to measure the spread of data from mean.
- Report validation: Data verification to ensure its quality and accuracy in the reports and eye for detail must identify various gaps.
- Regular interaction with clients and supporting them by catering to their other ad-hoc requests.
- Proficiency in Power BI development, and data visualization concepts.




- Advanced Excel skills – Knowledge of applications like Xlookup/ Vlookup/ Data validation, etc. to produce tables, use spreadsheets efficiently, and perform calculations and automation to process large volumes of data.

Key competencies: -

- CFA/ MBA in Strategy, Finance, Operations or Economics
- 4-5 years of experience in strategy research and analysis, preferably across industries
- At least ~1 year of experience in managing a team, as well as directly communicating with clients
- Experience in managing client communications solo will be considered an added advantage
- Experience in handling projects independently
- Solid problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills, as evidenced by extensive experience in utilizing those skills in research and consulting environment
- Adept at synthesizing information to generate insights
- Strong communication skills
