About the Role

We are looking for a strategic and execution-focused leader to head Career Services & Placements for a large online learner base. The role will drive employer partnerships, learner employability, placement outcomes, and career services at scale.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute the Career Services & Placement strategy.
- Build strong relationships with CHROs, TA leaders, corporates, staffing firms & industry associations.
- Drive employer acquisition, placement volumes, offer conversions and repeat hiring.
- Lead career readiness initiatives including resume building, interview preparation, career coaching and employability programs.
- Own end-to-end placement operations, hiring drives, career fairs and employer engagement.
- Build scalable,



technology-enabled placement processes using data & analytics.
- Lead and mentor teams across Corporate Outreach, Career Services, Student Engagement & Placement Operations.
- Collaborate with University, Academic, Product, Marketing & Learner Experience teams.

Ideal Candidate

- 12–15 years of experience in Career Services, Placements, Corporate Relations, Talent Acquisition or HR.
- 7–9+ years of experience leading Placement/Career Services teams.
- Robust corporate/recruiter network with proven employer partnership experience.
- Experience in Higher Education, EdTech, Universities or Workforce Development preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management & leadership skills.
