The Role
We are looking for an intelligent, adaptable and highly capable generalist who can contribute across different parts of the organisation. This is not a narrowly defined role. Depending on the assignment, you may work on a tender, coordinate a project, analyse information, prepare a report, manage a client interaction or help develop a new area of business.
You will work closely with the leadership team and be given meaningful responsibility from the outset.
Key Responsibilities
- Review RFPs, ToRs and tender documents and support the preparation of high-quality technical and financial proposals.
- Coordinate project plans, timelines, experts, partners and deliverables.
- Conduct research and quickly develop an understanding of unfamiliar sectors or technical subjects.
- Prepare and improve reports, presentations, proposals, briefs and client correspondence.
- Analyse, interpret and present qualitative and quantitative information.
- Communicate directly with clients, experts, government representatives and project partners.
- Organise meetings, document decisions and ensure that actions are followed through.
- Monitor both detailed tasks and broader project objectives, identifying risks before they become problems.
- Support business development, internal systems and emerging areas of work.
- Travel for client meetings, workshops, field visits and project delivery when required.
What We Are Looking For
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new sectors, subjects and responsibilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in working with different personalities and seniority levels.
- Ability to move between the micro and macro: managing fine details without losing sight of the wider objective.
- Clear thinking,
sound judgement and a practical approach to solving problems.
- Strong organisation, ownership and follow-through.
- Comfort working independently without constant supervision.
- Willingness to ask questions, challenge assumptions and contribute original ideas.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining the quality of work.
- Professionalism in client-facing situations and willingness to travel when required.
Education and Experience We are flexible about educational qualifications and qualified backgrounds. Candidates may come from consulting, management, environment, engineering, development, research, data, communications or an entirely different field.
We care more about how you think, communicate, learn and take ownership than the title of your degree. Relevant experience is valuable, but demonstrated capability, curiosity and potential are equally important.
How We Work
Suvigya has a flat leadership structure and a high-trust working environment. We do not believe in unnecessary hierarchy or micromanagement. Team members are encouraged to share ideas openly, question existing approaches and bring their own personality to work.
You will have considerable autonomy, accompanied by clear responsibility for the quality and timeliness of your work. Flexible working arrangements are available, subject to client commitments, project deadlines, meetings and travel requirements.
This role will suit someone who enjoys variety, learns by doing and wants the freedom to help shape both projects and the organisation itself.
Worklife balance and mental wellbeing are central to how we operate: we do not expect or encourage unpaid overtime, we expect high-quality work within sustainable hours, and we share our success through discretionary bonuses awarded at the end of the financial year and/or following significant project wins.
