Role & responsibilities :

- Govern and moderate the Alumni Portal, LinkedIn community, and WhatsApp groups set guidelines, resolve escalations, keep channels healthy and on-brand.

- Drive Alumni Portal engagement and build-out own adoption initiatives (directories, gamification, badges, leaderboards), define the feature roadmap with Product/Tech, and turn the portal into alumni's go-to hub.

- Own the content & engagement calendar: discussions, polls, spotlights, AMAs, and announcements across all three channels.

- Plan and host alumni events, webinars, and networking sessions (virtual & in-person).

- Drive member growth and retention via onboarding, referral loops, and re-engagement of dormant alumni; nurture alumni advocates/ambassadors.

- Partner with Marketing, Admissions, Career Services, and Product/Tech to channel alumni voices into testimonials, referrals, and hiring.





- Track community and portal health metrics and present periodic performance reviews with actionable recommendations.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong written/verbal communication; prior experience managing online communities or social channels (LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Slack, Discord, etc.).

- Comfortable working with Product/Tech teams on portal features, UX feedback, and engagement mechanics (gamification, directories).

- Excellent stakeholder management, ownership mindset, and comfort working independently in a rapid-paced setup.

- Bachelor's degree (Marketing/Communications/Business preferred); EdTech or membership-community experience is a plus.
