Role Overview

G4S is seeking a highly vigilant, energetic, and technically sound Associate Console Officer for our Security Risk Operation Center (SROC) in Gurugram. In this role, you will be the core of our 24/7 operations, utilizing your technical background in electronics to not only monitor and manage security systems but also troubleshoot them on the fly. We are looking for a self-motivated, presentable professional with an "eagle eye" for detail, strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and a solid command over Incident Management.

Key Responsibilities

Vigilance & Surveillance (The "Eagle Eye")

- Proactively monitor Video Surveillance (CCTV) arrays and Access Control Systems to detect unauthorized access, safety hazards, or suspicious behavior.
- Acknowledge, verify, and process all incoming system alarms with zero latency.
- Maintain hyper-vigilance during long hours of screen monitoring, catching anomalies that others might miss.

Technical Troubleshooting & Support

- Utilize your engineering background to perform immediate, Tier-1 troubleshooting for any technical snags arising in the SROC (e.g., VMS glitches, camera downtimes, alarm panel communication errors).
- Ensure maximum uptime of console equipment by identifying hardware or software faults and escalating them efficiently if beyond first-line resolution.





Incident Management & SOP Adherence

- Act as the primary command node during security incidents, emergencies, and crises, coordinating rapid responses.
- Execute all duties and escalations in strict compliance with site-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Log all events, technical faults, and incidents into the management system with high accuracy and generate end-of-shift reports.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications Education & Experience

- Education: B.Tech or Diploma strictly in Electronic Engineering (or related electronic fields).
- Experience: Prior experience in a Command Center, SOC, or SROC environment handling electronic security systems is highly preferred.

Working Conditions

- Shift Pattern: Must be entirely comfortable working in a 24/7 rotational shift environment (including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays).
- Work Week: 6-day working week with rotational week-offs.
- Environment: Fast-paced, high-stakes SROC requiring prolonged focus and quick decision-making.
