Position Title Assistant Vice President- SCM

Location Gurugram - Haryana

Position Summary This position will lead and direct all facets of supply chain management including, but not limited to, purchasing, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, material forecasting, capacity planning and sourcing, master scheduling, inventory control and financial costing, as necessary for JIT materials support to project sites. This position will provide leadership and direction on a cross functional basis.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities Develop sourcing and contracting strategy for projects based on input from technical experts, engineers and cross functional teams: what to source externally, how to split purchasing packages, which contract types, incentive schemes to apply

- Pre - Bid Support & execution of contracts
- Supply chain management (Supply & Services) as per project timelines & resource management at site
- Lead vendor screening, selection and negotiation
- Ensure compliance with client purchasing procedures; where required, give input to procedures and standards
- Meet target cost reductions
- Give input on a regular basis to project controlling with respect to potential risks (financial and timing) coming from contracts with vendors
- Ensuring compliance and legal standards are upheld in contracts
- Lead efforts for drafting, evaluation, negotiation and execution of contracts
- Publish MIS every month for the management.

Position Demands Travelling to multiple sites. Critical Success Factors - Essential Professional with over 15+ years of experience in procurement for large capex projects (power sector experience and EPC contracting

End-to-end responsibility for procurement (from discussion initiation to contract signing and contract closure)

Understanding of EPC landscape and BOOM/BOOT model in transmission

Critical Success Factors - Desirable Must have end to end exp in Site SCM / EPC SCM.

Must have handled Large Infra Projects- Transmission.
