Financial
Reporting &
- Closures • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures • Ensure accuracy, completeness and timelines of financial statements • Maintain alignment between books of accounts, MIS and disclosures 2. GL Control &
- Accounting Governance • Oversee GL integrity across portfolios and business units • Ensure appropriate accounting treatment in compliance with IndAS and IFRS • Drive cleanup of aged / unreconciled balances 3. IND-AS Compliance &
- Disclosures • Ensure adherence to IND-AS and IFRS standards in financial reporting • Review notes to accounts and disclosures for completeness and accuracy • Support preparation of statutory financial statements and audit schedules 4.
Regulatory
Reporting (RBI &
- Others) • Oversee preparation and submission of RBI returns and regulatory filings • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements • Manage ad-hoc data regulatory data request efficiently 5. Audit &
- Compliance Management • Coordinate with Statutory Auditors, Internal Audit, IFC, and regulatory authorities • Provide required schedules, reconciliations and explanations • Ensure closure of audit observations with defined timelines 6.
Business Accounting
Oversight • Validate revenue recognition, provisioning, and expense accounting • Identify inconsistencies and implement corrective actions 7. MIS, Analytics &
- Management Reporting • Review MIS reports and financial analytics • Preparation of management and Board-level presentations • Provide insights on financial performance and variances 8.
Process
Improvement &
- Controls • Identify process gaps and strengthen internal controls • Enhance governance to prevent misstatements and errors • Drive standardization and best practices across accounting processes 9. Automation &
- System Enablement • Champion automation initiatives in financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with IT for system enhancements (e.g., SAP, reporting tools).
- Improve efficiency through system-driven controls and reporting 10. Consolidation &
- Group Reporting • Lead consolidation of financial statements across entities, ensuring accuracy and completeness • Ensure elimination of inter-company transactions and reconciliation of group balances • Drive timely preparation of consolidated financials in compliance with IND-AS (Ind AS 110, 111, 28, etc.) • Review consolidation adjustments, minority interest, and group-level disclosures • Coordinate with business units and subsidiaries for standardized reporting and data submission • Strengthen controls and automation around consolidation processes and group reporting Qualifications &
Experience • 7–10 years experience in Controllership / Financial Reporting • Solid knowledge of IND-AS and financial reporting frameworks • Experience in audit handling and regulatory reporting (RBI preferred) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • CA preferred Competencies: Ownership Boundaryless Behaviour Cost Consciousness Functional Competencies IND-AS 109 Regulatory Reporting &
