We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Assistant Project Manager who wants to grow into a future Project Manager and construction leader.

This is not a back-office administrative position.

Our Assistant Project Managers are critical members of the project team. They help drive schedules, coordinate procurement, manage project documentation, support financial controls, and keep projects moving forward from award through closeout.

You'll work directly alongside experienced Project Managers, gain exposure to every phase of the construction lifecycle, and play a meaningful role in delivering successful projects.

What You'll DoProject Planning & Scheduling

- Support Project Managers in planning and executing construction projects from award through closeout
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules
- Monitor project milestones and identify potential schedule risks
- Coordinate project activities to ensure deadlines are achieved
- Assist with schedule recovery planning when projects encounter delays

Procurement & Material Management

- Coordinate material purchasing and procurement activities
- Obtain pricing from vendors and suppliers
- Track long-lead items and delivery schedules
- Verify materials align with project scope and specifications
- Help prevent procurement-related delays that could impact project schedules

Project Coordination & Communication

- Serve as a key point of coordination between Project Managers, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams
- Maintain project visibility through consistent communication and follow-up
- Escalate issues proactively before they become major project impacts
- Support subcontractor coordination and schedule accountability

Construction Administration

- Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and project records
- Assist with subcontractor agreements, work authorizations, and Change Orders
- Track RFIs, submittals, permits, approvals, and project deliverables
- Ensure project documentation remains organized and up to date

Budget & Cost Control

- Review invoices and support cost tracking efforts
- Verify completed work aligns with billing requests
- Assist with budget monitoring and forecasting




- Identify potential cost concerns and communicate them early

Remote Project Oversight

- Review project photos, reports, and field documentation
- Identify potential quality concerns, scope discrepancies, or project risks
- Provide Project Managers with timely feedback and recommendations
- Help maintain project accountability and visibility throughout execution

Qualifications

Required

- 3–5+ years of experience in construction project coordination, assistant project management, project engineering, construction administration, or similar construction-related roles
- At least 2–3 years of experience supporting U.S.-based construction companies and/or U.S. construction projects
- Experience supporting construction, renovation, multifamily, maintenance, or capital improvement projects in the United States
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable working in a rapid-paced remote environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Preferred

- Multifamily renovation or CapEx project experience within the U.S. market
- Experience with Procore, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Buildertrend, or similar construction management platforms
- Experience reviewing budgets, invoices, and project cost reports
- Familiarity with Change Orders, RFIs, submittals, procurement, and subcontractor coordination
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent construction experience)
